Hello Birdy

Day 1 of my little egg's life has come to a close and the prognosis is positive.

I already have a name picked out, but in case I change my mind and to keep an element of surprise, I'm keeping it to myself. ^_^ I think I'll stick to fishing and gardening my baby chocobo's feed until it's born, for now. I tried getting to 57 BST but it's taking quite a while.

You know what I'd love to see? An FFXI stock market. I wish there were a way to jury-rig one, but it doesn't seem possible. I know SE would never go for it, but it'd be a total blast. You know, be able to buy stocks in fishermen and other crafters? I can dream, can't I? ^_^

Nature of the BST

So... time lapse! I'm BST55 now, and slowly making progress a little at a time, day by day. It's a lot more fun than stressing over LFP for hours and hours. Sure, I can't keep up with anyone else, but I don't really have to. I sort of have no choice. I've just gotten a job as a barista at Java House Coffee (starting from 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), so my schedule is going to be a bit wonky at first.

Still, I have two out of five of my AF pieces and if I'm willing to be patient, I can solo the rest. (I think.)

I've been hanging out in Bostaunieux Oubliette lately, and it was terrifying to get the hang of it at first. But it's become a nice, comfortable camp at 55. I'll keep you updated.

I think I've finally found a place where the templates don't give me hives. :3 So hey, everyone, I'm Chacharu. I guess it's time to get right to the soapboxing.

I'm trying to get my BLM sub to 37, and I'm hating it a lot less than I did when I left it at 31 a year ago. It's a wee bit of fun since I'm not having to worry too much about gear (what I have is pretty much awesomeness for now!). I'm about to hit 35 as we speak and I think I'll be a bit sad to be finished with it. Maybe I'll get it to 40 just for kicks! It's nice to take a break from the hardcore grinding of WHM.

So today I hit Garlaige Citadel for all of 30 minutes before my PT decided it was time to hightail it to Crawler's Nest. We're waiting to get started now. :3 I'm borrowing my friend Iceblazek's precious Morion Tathlum. I tried for my own for several hours earlier, but no dice, and I hate being stuck in there with all the competition. So I'll haul butt to 37, finish Promyvion-Dem, and give it back ASAP. <3 Thank you, Icey!

Fufufu. No news on the cooking front, either. Once I hit 100 it's been pretty much cooking when I feel like it, which is seldom. Waiting for New Moon Darksday is so boring... :P
